About Est
Every Shoe Tales are blogs written by me, but not all about me, with permission I get the privilege to share other peoples shoe tales too. In a nutshell ESt is about the stories our shoes ‘tale’; the highs, the lows, the dreams and the blows, for the make ups and the breakups, the I do’s or I don’t, for the downright hardest moments, to the highest points of exhilaration and I bet you have a pair for each of those!
We often hear the phrase “can you walk in my shoes?” or “I’d hate to be in your shoes” – our shoes carry our decisions, our mistakes, our traumas, our testimonies, our happy moments! – you name it and we all have a pair with a story to ‘tale’ and I intend to tell as many as I can. I truly believe that we can learn and grow from each other.
So why Wellbeing – our state of wellbeing is influenced by EVERY part of our lives; mental, physical, spiritual, emotional/psychological and social health. Think about it that’s our health, jobs, relationships, financial situations, environments, spirituality/Faith, hobbies, ability to adapt, diet, coping mechanisms and so forth! So I think we can agree that THIS is pretty important stuff. Sometimes, due to the sheer business of life, challenging circumstances or just life itself, we can often neglect ourselves. It’s vital we get back to making our wellbeing a priority.
we all have a pair with a
story to tale
Every shoe ‘tales’ a story through the owner’s journey; something we can learn from and grow, to help us to make better and healthier choices for ourselves and others.
A bit about me!
I love reading, love writing and obvs love a good pair of shoes! I must confess I’m one of those who when I was much younger, would go to a store in my old pair f shoes and literally walk out with a new pair ad feel like a brand new person (that feeling didn’t last long)I’m an advocate for holistic health especially mental and emotional health. I’ve had the privilege of supporting vulnerable people in professional settings and my experiences really opened my eyes to the importance of taking care of ourselves and those around us.
Honestly, it’s a life lesson. (still on the journey, still learning, still growing).
Give careful thought to the paths for your feet…Proverbs 4:26
